Terraforming and Restoration

Working with the Earth and Ecosystems

At Full Circle, we believe in the power of nature to heal and thrive when given the right care and attention. Whether you’re aiming to restore a natural habitat, enhance the biodiversity of your landscape, or create an environment that supports local wildlife, we bring expertise and passion to every project.

Our team specializes in terraforming and ecological restoration, offering sustainable solutions that not only transform the landscape but also promote a healthier ecosystem. We are dedicated to helping nature in many ways. This includes restoring damaged areas and creating new spaces for native plants and animals.

Habitat Restoration & Biodiversity Enhancement

Restoring natural habitats is an essential part of maintaining ecological balance. Our restoration services aim to bring degraded or altered land back to its original, healthy state. We focus on wetland restoration, forest regeneration, and restoring native grasslands. We work hard to bring back native plants, improve soil health, and enhance wildlife habitats.

We understand that biodiversity is key to the resilience of ecosystems. Our approach focuses on creating wildlife-friendly landscapes that attract and support diverse species. We can help you create spaces with native plants, water sources, and shelter. These features will attract pollinators, birds, insects, and small mammals.

By enhancing biodiversity, we promote a balanced ecosystem that benefits the land and the community as a whole.

Invasive Plant Removal & Soil Health

Invasive plant species pose a significant threat to local ecosystems by outcompeting native plants and disrupting natural processes. Our team can find, remove, and control invasive species. This helps stop their spread and reduce their impact on the local environment.

We remove invasive plants and work on restoring soil health, regardless of the soil type. This helps the land stay fertile and strong and supports native species. We use natural methods like composting, mulching, and high quality organic amendments. These methods help restore the soil, boost its nutrients, and support the growth of native plants.

Terracing & Erosion Control

For properties with steep slopes or areas that often have soil erosion, we provide special terracing services. These services help stabilize the land and stop erosion. Terracing changes hilly or sloped land into flat areas which helps lower the risk of landslides and soil loss and improves drainage.

We design our terraces not only for erosion control but also for aesthetic appeal and functionality. We can make terraced garden beds, market gardens, or agricultural terraces. These are nice to look at and direct water flow and maintain soil.

We also build rock walls and retaining walls. These walls give support, stop soil erosion, and add natural beauty. These hardscapes integrate seamlessly with the surrounding landscape, ensuring they remain functional and visually harmonious.

Regulatory Compliance for Riparian Restoration

Ecological restoration and terraforming projects often require navigating complex provincial and local regulatory frameworks, especially when working near sensitive ecosystems or water bodies.

We have a lot of experience getting DPA (Development Permit Area) permits. These permits are for work in riparian areas. Riparian areas are near rivers, lakes, or streams. They are important for water quality, wildlife habitats, and flood control.

Our team also works on in-stream culverting. This process installs culverts to control water flow and aims to reduce the impact on aquatic habitats. We know all the important laws, like the Water Sustainability Act and Riparian Areas Regulation. We can help you with the permitting process to make sure you follow local environmental rules.

Whether you are working near water or creating a habitat on your land, we make sure every step follows the rules. We also promote the health of the surrounding environment.

Sustainable Design and Long-Term Management

At Full Circle, we take a holistic approach to every project. We don't just focus on the immediate transformation—we design for long-term sustainability. Our team is dedicated to environmental impact and using eco-friendly practices. We support healthy habitats and make sure the land thrives for future generations.

We provide maintenance plans to help restored areas grow and thrive. These plans prevent invasive species from returning. They also monitor soil health and support native plants and animals.

We provide regular follow-up assessments and ongoing support, if desired. We are here to help your project grow in harmony with nature.
